Lucas has been part of our team since 2024, bringing not only valuable professional experience but also a fresh perspective from his previous career.

Lucas, what motivated you to join our team?

In my previous role as a process and development officer, I already had my first points of contact with kasasi and got to know the platform from a user's perspective. The idea behind it excited me from the start! After completing my part-time degree in Digital Management & Transformation, I wanted to apply what I'd learned in an innovative, dynamic environment – and that's exactly what I found at kasasi.

What are your responsibilities as a Key Account Manager?

Together with my colleagues, I'm responsible for the German sales territory and independently manage the Benelux, Scandinavia, and UK regions. My main focus is on building and maintaining long-term customer relationships. This includes new customer acquisition, comprehensive consulting and support, and analysing customer needs to feed into our product development. My working day is shaped by a wide variety of customer contacts – by phone, email, or in person. Trade fair visits and networking events are also a regular part of my work.

What excites you about your work?

The variety and working with customers is what makes my job for me. I love developing solutions together with our customers that optimise their processes and offer real added value. It gives me a great feeling to help drive our customers' success and, at the same time, move kasasi forward.

What does a typical working day look like for you?

Since I live near Mainz, I work mainly from home, but I regularly travel to Kempten to meet my colleagues in person – that's important to me. I'm an early riser (sometimes by necessity, thanks to my two kids!) and start the day with a family breakfast and the first coffee of the day. Then my working day begins: I check emails, review my calendar, and prepare for customer appointments. I reserve about an hour a day for customer acquisition. My job naturally involves a certain amount of travel – I'm usually on the road Tuesday to Thursday. That said, kasasi and my team leader place great importance on a good work-life balance, so my personal life doesn't suffer despite the intensive sales work.

What makes kasasi special for you as an employer?

I particularly appreciate the flat hierarchies and the short decision-making paths that come with them. Ideas can be brought in at any time and are genuinely valued and followed up on. Everyone has the opportunity, regardless of department or position, to help shape and develop the company – that's really great!

What would you like to say to applicants?

Be open, bring enthusiasm, and don't be afraid to think outside the box!

Your famous last words?

Ideas without execution are worthless, and execution without ideas is pointless." To successfully develop products and implement ideas, you need to understand why you're doing something. Inspire the people around you.
