DevOps / Platform Engineer (m/f/d)
What you can expect
- Operate and maintain our production infrastructure, continuously improving it
- Manage and support the database, security, networking and VPN infrastructures
- Design, automate and optimise CI/CD pipelines, as well as build and deployment processes
- Build, operate and maintain our on-premises Kubernetes clusters
- Implement and manage infrastructure as code using Terraform/OpenTofu and Ansible
- Operate and enhance monitoring, logging and alerting solutions
- Analyse, troubleshoot and proactively prevent issues in production environments
- Work closely with software engineering teams to develop architecture, operations and deployment strategies
What you bring with you
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a comparable qualification is required
- Professional experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering or IT infrastructure
- Strong hands-on experience of administering Linux servers, preferably Debian-based systems
- Practical experience with containerisation and orchestration technologies (Docker and Kubernetes), as well as modern automation and infrastructure as code practices
- Solid scripting and programming skills, particularly in Bash and Python
- Experience with open-source technologies such as MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Kafka and Redis would be advantageous
- I have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, a structured approach to work, and the ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams
- Fluency in German at C2 level, as well as a good command of spoken and written English
